... arrived today Very Happy I thought it will have M42 screw mount but in fact came with a K pentax bayonet. Even better Smile In the auction's text was writtten : lens, fitting pentax.
Howhere I did not see this type of lens, in the Chinon manuals/catalogue. The only one found was with f:3.5.
It was very cheap for a 200mm K Pentax lens but has only 5 settings of the diaphragm: 3.3/5.6/8/11/16 .
I'll be back with samples.

I have a couple of Chinons. One I like in particular, is the 100mm f/2.8.

A 100mm Chinon ? Could you post a photto of it ? I heard of Chinon lenses only on more traditional/popular focal lenghts: 28mm/35mm/50mm/135mm/200mm .

Well it's branded Chinonflex. But it is identical to my Chinon 50mm just a bit longer.

If I can find a camera I shall photograph it for you.

EDIT: Photos added.

I have this lens , chinon 3,3/200 . Soft at full aperture , it becomes average contrast and sharpness at f/8, f/11 - it is for my copy - . I have also a revuenon special 3,3/200 , a makinon 3,3/200 wich are close each other in terms of general "rendition" . Not bad lenses (who is the real mfg ? ) . If you want high contrast , sharpness , color saturation , it is on J-21, s-tak , Tamron side .

I have an Tamron 200mm f/3.5. An adaptall, which is indeed quite nice, not as the later Adaptall-2 SP ones, obviously. But still quite nice.

The serial named is unedited pictures, the Linked ones may be edited.

Well I tried the lens and I can say that it is pretty soft at f:3.3 and with CA present. Contrast is better though that the single coated Soligor 135mm. From f:8 the Chinon's shots are acceptable sharp. So not the gratest but for the price I paid I don't complain. I was intended to use it for film photography anyway Wink where film's resolution is more important.

Relax moment
