Looking for the difference between these 2 models / mounts.

My logic says that only difference would be the bayonet ring (NEX vs FX).

Anyone took this adapter apart maybe ..?

I have EF-NEX and FD-NEX.
You are correct in assuming their optical blocks are completely identical.

This is however not true for m43 versions.

Hi, thanx for your reply !

On the net I see now that NEX model has a square rear lens and FX a round one,

This is something that I just find out so they could be a totally different version ..

Uh, I think I've mixed up FX with Nikon FX.

If we are talking about the back end, Sony NEX and Fuji X are different.
As long as the back (body) mount is the same, optics does appear to be the same between all adapted (front) mounts.
