I saw they were more obvious so I grabbed the camera and tripod and headed outside. At first they were just barely evident against the blue sky but became more and more prominent. Just amazing.

They've been appearing for several years here. I live about 380 miles south of Jamaeolus, 40° N latitude. Also Mammatus
