picked up a new one to add to the list:

is it reasonable to assume most (if not all) of the plura-coat lenses were made by mitake? this appears to have the same machining on the focus and aperture rings as the mitake-labelled lenses documented here

My only Spiratone item, its famous Bellows Master SST, made by Hama, from what I understand. Complete with dedicated 120mm macro lens.

99% chance that NOT manufactured by hama because hama is mainly a distributor (as spira, soligor...)

My Spiratone lenses:

70-220mm f/3.5 #7900644 (Tokina)
200mm f/3.5 #267665 (Mitake?)
20mm f/2.8 #211980 (Sun?)

Since I'm unsure of the maker for the 200mm and the 20mm, here are some photos in case someone else can say for certain:

The 20mm om mount is same as sun om mount BUT
    >i dot not know sun 20mm lens
    >the index is NOT the same that sun's second period (post 1980) period (the period when 99% of soligor lenses were sun's : 28/80...)
    >Sun meter lettering is usualy green
= origin ?

That 20mm lens is made by Mitake, who also sold it under their own brand (Mitakon), as well as being sold by Soligor and Cambron too. The peculiarly shaped arrow used as the focus marker is a tell for a Mitakon lens during that period. Other entities to rebadge Mitakon lenses include Yashica who used their 28mm and 135mm lenses in their DSB/YUS economy lens range.

Spiratone Macrotel 150mm ƒ/4.5, SN 19567.

I have no idea who made it for Spiratone.

Came attached to a Bellows Master SST.

By the lack of any coloured reflection, it would appear that this is an uncoated lens… and it's got the flare to prove it!
