Hi!

Had some time today to play with my camera again. All images are shot with the Minolta MC 50mm f1.7 mounted with a Zhongyi focal reducer to my Sony A6000. The zhongyi introduces a 0,71 times reverse crop, making the Minolta a roughly 53mm f1.8 lens. Wide open the quality ist ok but stopped down to f2.8 it become really great and I see no big difference between this and using an adapter without glas. I'm impressed.

I have the same combination. I must give it another try.

Interesting, I have tried a Lensturbo (v1) on some Pentax lenses. Best results I got with the SMC pentax M 1.4/50.
But they never looked as good as yours, wide open the boarders were poor.... stopped down I got a problem with a "blue dot" in the center of the image.

I've made some direct comparisons with and without the Zhongyi "Lens Turbo" APS-C vs. FF here: http://forum.mflenses.com/lens-turbo-aka-speed-booster-t78931.html
IMHO it's not bad at all.
