Yep - the title says it all:
Is the Sankyo Kohki Komura 135mm f3.5 LTM - triplet or sonnar?
Or something else.
The group of lenses is a fair way up the lens barrel.
Anyone know for sure?

Five elements as per the Komura catalog in Camera Eccentric.
I vaguely recall that was so when I opened mine, which is still around in a box somewhere.

Its a very good lens.

Yes, agreed, a very good lens.
A sonar type then with five elements - unless there is another five element design type?
