I was at the races last night and snapped this one at the finish post as night fell (5D Mk2, 1/1000s, f2.8, 200mm, ISO 1600). I was surprised to discover rather obvious vignetting, which I hadn't noticed on Canon's 70-200 f2.8L before. I guess the twilight-lit sky was exactly right for showing it up.

Incidentally, this is so sharp that in the 60MB file you can count the stitches in the bridle of the lead horse. This is the sort of situation where I think (and I know others disagree Wink ) autofocus really demonstrates its value.
