Evening

Took the AD2 17A (35-70mm f3.5) out at the weekend attached to my trusty Nikon D3

They seem to "click" nicely together giving some lovely results

Brilliant looking images. I was drawn to comment here because of two typos in your subject title, which can be edited, by the way. You corrected the 27A to 17A, but the lens is not an SP lens. It seems to me to be worthy to be included in that grouping, but it wasn't.

I was obviously having a bad day when I posted the original

The lens was the NON SP 17A - so I have now corrected the numerous mistakes

Apologies

It's a great lens nonetheless. Sometimes I wonder about how Tamron determined which lenses were SP and which weren't. For example, the 01B 24mm f/2.5, 02B 28mm f/2.5, and 103A 85-210 are lenses that I've often wondered weren't SP lenses because their optical quality is also top notch.
