Hello,

I'm new to this forum and have recently started collecting vintage lenses to use with my mirrorless camera.

I recently purchased a lens from a charity shop for $30 (NZ). It came in a lovely leather case Braun Nurnberg.
It's in great external condition and the front glass is totally clear. It looks as if it was very well looked after.
Its a Steinheil MünchenTele-Quinar 135 mm f/ 3.5. With M39 mount.

Just wondering if anyone knew the history of this lens?
They look to be quite expensive on eBay, but I can't find one with M39 mount. Not sure if I had a bargain or not.

congratz..nice find, and cheap.
in case you haven't found yet, Braun paxete has little bit longer flange distance than Leica M39.
I used LTM adapter + shortest extension tube for this lens
