HI all,

I recently resurrected Louis' Tamron compact 200mm thread. The very pleasing (to me anyway) character of the f/5.9 Tasei Kogaku along with it's convenient operation and size led me to start a separate thread about this particular version . Pictures from May 7 taken on a Sony A7 Mii. Most of the flower pics were taken wide open.

interesting photos. It is sharper than I would have expected from a secondary mfr 200 from that era. Nice bokeh. Contrast is a bit weak, likely due to single coating?

A long doublet like this should do quite well with center sharpness.
And contrast/flare too, if there is no haze.
