I recently received a copy of this excellent lens and have not been disappointed! I have several other 135mm lenses including a Leica R and this blows them all out of the water. My copy was from Japan and like all Takumars is smooth operating, and this copy is super sharp. I'm a huge fan of Taks, and this is the best one I have ever tried. We adopted new kittens this weekend and they are a bit of a challenge to catch in focus. I just missed the last one
