So finally I've taken one of the cheapest lenses, Industar 50/2.8, and most overpriced camera around, Leica M9, for a test shoot:



And here is the effect. No post-processing, wide open:

That's right, the Industar-26M can be found for less than 1 EUR and still below 10 EUR including the FED camera.

However, in comparison it's by far not the worst lens around.

Why didn't you use the M10 instead? Smile

I wasn't precise enough, I meant only my cameras - I have no M10 and I don't to Smile

Indeed. Although not spectacular, it is a very decent allround lens. And it is very easy to find very clean copies at max. $10. For people on a super-tight budget, it would be one of my first recommendations.
