A very famous (ZEISS) collector, now passed once told me:
"All comes to him who can wait patiently..." He was so right...

Thank you, Lars!

A short distance.
At infinity.
Against the light.
For different values of the aperture.
General personal experiences.
If there is such an experience - in comparison with the Leitz Nektor 2.8sm f6.3

Alright, I never had the Hektor, so I can`t help out with that, but I will put the lens in the bag ready for use Wink

The lens shows some spherical aberrations + vignetting and the contrast is somewhat low. My copy also has some dirt inside that may affect performance. Sharpness is good on near objects, but not razor on infinity (I wonder if it misses infinity slightly).
You will definitely find better 28mm RF lenses, but I do like its drawing and character which is somewhat unique. I also love the glow I get from bright light sources when it 's dark and keep in mind that this is a 80 year old lens! Performance against the sun is weak with lots of flare = very low contrast. It could also look like it have some magenta shift some places, but the sky may have had this color because it was close to sundown (magenta shift is usually seen in the corners).
