My site with 700 links to build of hombrew cameras, DIY repair and modification of photoequipment:
http://4photos.de/camera-diy/index-en.html

Those who could undestand German, sould use the German site, there are ~ 1400 links.

Some own projects are also on that site (and some older on my old site)
- DSLR camera with exchangeable IR filter - so one could shot IR with an Hoya R72, and whitin ~ 2 minutes change the filter to the original Canon filter for visible. Or a 1000x grey filter, or...
And all that with bright viewfinder (but without AF, probably it is possible to get Af with a modiifcation of the AF-mirror)

- Easy build Tilt lens with metal housing out of an Canon FD 50/1.8. Works with 50/1.4 and 28/2.8 as well. Good for Crop DSLR cameras, probably without infinity on fullframe.

Hi, Markus. What an impressive collection of links you put together. I'll take some to browse thru it. BTW welcome aboard.

Cheers, Marty.

Looking at Zone V's videos, it seems a clear tip to everyone to set up and record everything, if only to show off! But also to recall how screws were located and the order in which things are done.

Maybe it is not for everyone to do what Zone V did but it is what the internet is about. Thanks for sharing!

Oh, the most of my links are to others people internet sites - I did not produce any DIY videos up to now. In most cases I have mentioned the author in the description.
I document my own work with photos. And sometimes I write a estimated length near the screw hole (short, long, middle) on the camera I open.

It´s good to enjoy these links over some years as I have started that tinker-link-list in 2001 Wink

This thread reminds me that I made one years ago, too. Sitting unused for years now on top of a book-case. Dusted it off a bit for a picture:

Used lots of camera bits, I had on file: 3 Welta/Rheinmetall for the body, Kodak finder, Schneider-Linhof Angulon lens, Pentacon focussing, Exakta VP pan cover... Used it with slide film, worked great, maybe the edges are a bit weak, as the 16,4 cm format is to large for that Angulon. Guess I should awake it again, one day.

That's a cracker!
Reminds me; I bought a Kodak 3A for just that purpose - really must pull the finger out.
