My latest modification acquisition ... a Meyer-Optik Gorlitz Trioplan 10.5cm f:4.5 from an un-branded donor folding camera that was so degraded I had to cut the shutter mechanism off with a power-tool. Fortunately neither the lens (or the shutter) appear to have suffered from the neglect ... quality!
The shutter-housing was mounted to an M42 body cap to be used with a set of M42 bellows, which themselves have been adapted at the camera end to Pentax K-mount.
I've now got a Trioplan for under £20 that'll focus from 5" (yes, inches!) to infinity ... some days you just get lucky |
