Hi lucca,
- perceptol 3:1 @ 24 degrees for 13 min
The negative had more mid-tones but the scanner seems to have lost them

Hmm, seems to have plenty good detail for prints. I don't really like the colours that come from the Plusteks or many of the other compact scanners, but it looks to be a good choice for B&W. Even I had good 8x10 results from flatbed scanners (Canoscan 8800f) with TMAX that were comparable to my El-Nikkor Darkroom prints, although the scanner did smooth out all of the grain (or really it just didn't resolve it). I'm hoping for the industry (even Kodak) to respond with new scanners (rather than cameras! who would have thought...), but in the meantime it's reasonable to pay $13 for high resolution scans + development on minilabs, and I don't shoot that often anyway. |

Very good picture and darkroom work. Might have a couple of rolls of TMax 100 in the fridge. The problem is to find someone to develop and print them. _________________ Chhayanat

So, Chhayanat, just develop them by yourself. B&W dev is fun and quite easy to do. _________________ Olivier - Moderator

Maybe the first one would benefit of some dodging in the upper side.
Nice composition.
Second one is very well exposed, sharp and very contrasty.
Shot in full light. Around 12 ?
I like TMax a lot with its particular soft grain and mood. _________________ Olivier - Moderator
