Picked up this old Bell & Howell Angenieux optic about a month ago. Gosh it is a nice lens. Am really enjoying it.

Click here to see on Ebay then click see original listing

This lens is pretty commonplace. The lens I received is in beautiful condition though, which makes it sweet.

Still cannot figure out the so-called "tool". Have no clue how it fits in or is used.

Use on? How does it perform optically? Endless questions Laughing

Gosh, it has been nearly a month. I think image size is too small to fill m4/3. People, if I recall correctly, are using this lens successfully with the BMPCC cine cameras. I think (not sure) there are examples on YouTube which would allow you to judge image quality.

I bought the lens because I just pretty much fell in love with it. It's a beautiful optic, so well and carefully made across the board, almost like a work of art. Since vignetting does not trouble me personally, and with this lens being C mount, I knew I would be able to take still photos with it using my Olympus E-PL1 . . . . which however I have not done as yet.

I had a similar Canon. Nice craftsmanship too. I did use it on video camera with good results. I have a photo around here somewhere...
