Rudbeckia hirta multispectral (Human vision, UV, simulated butterfly and bee vision)

Shot using a UV-Nikkor 105mm quartz-fluorite lens at f11, using a modified Xenon flash and proprietary filters.



[these are just JPG pre-production studio shots for calibration I need for publications, museum exhibits etc.;
production files are then developed from RAW for 300dpi print resolution]

Besides the fact that these could easily hang on a wall as a piece of art (somehow these remind me of Andy Warhol), does your work serve another purpose?
It would be interesting to know more details behind the how and why of the pictures! Thanks!
