Looks quite terrible IMHO. Is this glassless adapter?

I never tried the 25 but I have tried the 35, 135 and the 85. All the three lenses I have tried are sharp from wide open. The 85 is the sharpest fast 85 at its time. Try to convert the lenses into M42 and use it on your camera Click here to see on Ebay or use a mirror-less camera.

I didn't like it either.
I have to test it on a tripod next weekend and see if it gets better.
The adapter is a glass adapter for my sony a but i'm waiting for an adapter to my sony e,
hopefully that will be better.

Wait until you have that glassless adapter, waste of time otherwise... Wink

I was surprised to see those results, especially if they are RE lenses, I would be somewhat less surprised if they were Topcor UV lenses, now that I know that the adapter has optics.... I'm not surprised at all.

It's better four those lenses and for your time too.

You will be happy with the differences.

Are these Topcor RE or Topcor UV? It would be great to mention this in the topic header. Cause UV lenses are real pain to adapt to modern cameras and people might want to see pictures whether it is worth it.

It's not impossible, there are people who make them. I have one, very happy with the UV Topcor lenses as well!!
Here's a thread about it, some of my samples in it as well : http://forum.mflenses.com/uv-topcor-35mm-f3-5-lens-t77352,highlight,%2Btopcor+%2Buv.html

I think (not sure it was here on MFL) there is also a thread with a comparison between UV and RE lenses and the differences aren't that big. UV Topcor lenses are dirt cheap though.

Cheers, René.

I've compared both the RE 100/2.8 with the UV 100/4 in this thread:

Comparison of both RE and UV 135mm lenses:

Other performances of UV lenses can be seen here:
