I took the venerable parents to catch a coach in Chester back in september to go on a cruise, which gave me the opportunity to walk the town walls and see the sights. The early morning light was nice, but became more overcast later.
Chinon 35mm: #1,2, 3, 6
vivitar 17mm: 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10
addendum - both these lenses are keepers.

Inside the catherdral. I tried to produce a HDR from 3 bracketed pics, but Nikon Tools HDref kept crashing, so I just tweaked the "middle" pic. Camera was on a bean bag on a chair.

Great Local! Great shots! Great memories. My wife and I visited Chester in 2007. One of my last if not very times I photographed with film.
I no longer have any film cameras but have most of my old lenses

i didn't do any distortion corrections. You can see eg pic of the town hall #8 how the verticals reflect the 17mm wide angle, L and R. Less pronounced on apsc (pentax K5) of course. _________________ pentax ME super (retired)

Beautiful pictures! Your last picture of the cathedral interior is great, I was there earlier this year and the sun was shining directly through that window which messed up my exposure. |
