Had this lens a couple of weeks now and not really had chance to test it out

For a "bargain bucket" priced lens on E-Bay I am pleased with the results, nice colours with good detail.

Hi there

here are the specs of the lens and write-up from the adaptall-2 site

Tamron Adaptall-2 28-50mm F/3.5-4.5 Model 07A: A wide angle to normal zoom lens with somewhat above average performance. The extremely compact optical design minimizes distortion at the wide angle settings and produces virtually zero distortion at the 50mm setting. This lens is notable for being very compact and will fit in most camera ever-ready cases. Optical performance at 28 mm is very good by F/8, yet remains slightly soft in the corners. Optical performance from 37mm to 50mm is very good across the field by F/5.6, with much better corner sharpness as well. Overall optimal aperture is F/11. While the performance isn't nearly as good as Tamron's SP 24-48, this lens was much less expensive and offered a perfect price versus performance ratio for amateur photographers. This lens also features continuous focusing (CF) into macro mode and reaches a 1:5 reproduction ratio at the 50mm setting.
