Soviet projection J-53 2/75

I continue to discover the world of porjection lenses. This one is an impressive apertureless Soviet J-53, from the family of "J" and "RO" cineprojection planars. Some shots from the family were presented here in the forum by Pierre.

The lens seems to be as good as F-92/2 I recently put in a quiz. Its contrast loss is not really sensible even without hood, as the glass side surfaces are originally blackened. I expected a noisier bokeh basing on rebelstar's great test. Although it seems rather relaxed. I ask myself at which point the lens matches the Visionars class going for a fraction of their price.
