After one of my recent posts, I've now disassembled and re-assembled my MIR-47K several times, the last time completely - every last screw, diaphragm out etc. - and fully serviced it.

I was too focused on servicing the lens and putting it back together to take any photos of the process, but if anyone decides to service their MIR-47K (or M42 MIR-47, though I've never seen one!) and runs into difficulties or isn't sure about anything, please feel free to contact me and I'll do my best to help. I believe I have a very good working knowledge of the lens now...
