Took out my new copy of the Tamron AD2 SP 28-80mm f3.5-4.2 27a lens over the Easter weekend to this stunning location on the Welsh Borders

As ever with these AD2 lenses I have to say I am pleased with the results on the Nikon D3

Your lens really resolves fine detail all over edge to edge. Nice samples!

I'm using my 28A more and more, it's just a tiny bit wider than the Rokkor 35-70, and that tempts me when I just grab one lens and go. Is it better than the Rokkor? I don't know. But I'm still using the Rokkor as my most trusted lens in this range. Confused

I haven't been to Powis Castle since I was a boy, and it's just 30 min's drive for me. Mark's excellent pictures are telling to go. Like 1 small
