Sony just announced its mirrorless flagship A9.

Things which I found interesting:
. 24.1 MP stacked CMOS
. 20 fps with no Black Out
. 693 focusing point (but we are using MF lens right?) Rolling Eyes
. new battery which last 2.2x longer (unfortunately the size is different compared to the current battery)
. Price: $4499.

Who needs more than 12MP I wonder?? For what, pictures on the net, I often ask myself... Twisted Evil
How many of us do really make large prints?? I had my flower pics printed 3 meters wide from 12MP pics Wink

Idiot-proof point-and-shoot?

Should have 45 mpix so you didn't have to even point it - just crop on desktop?

Look good to me. I am happy with get an a7III at 1/3 of the price and 1/3 of the fps/focusing point or AF/AE calculation. And please keep the touch screen for my a7III.
