That tiny old Tessar lens came with a few other things, I've bought at Ebay and I wanted to give it a try.
That Leitz focussing was pretty handy for that.
The Zeiss is not really sharp, has a bit of a painterly quality.
All shots made at f2,7. Picture were pretty flat in contrast, so I just run an auto contrast for all pictures.

This lens from the movie camera Kinamo 1920's. It is interesting to see the pictures with f5.6-8

Focus falls off very quickly from the centre doesn't it.
Well worth playing with and finding the right subject to complement the lens' characteristic

Although the contrast is pretty low compare to coated lens, the colors are quiet balanced.

Or software adjust contrast routine makes corresponding adjustments, if any, to color balance, maybe, probably.
