Very sweet collection!

I love photographs of individual lenses, and I especially enjoy photographs of lens families. Wink

That original Tamron clear rear cover on your 22A is absolutely killer. I wish I had about thirty of those darn things.

But they are NOT for sale anywhere!! Sad

Not important, just a minor typo, but . .

I think the 22A is actually 35-135mm

No bigee.

But hang onto that original Tamron clear rear cover, coddle it, and treat it with loving respect; those things are like GOLD!!

Back in the day, I used to toss aside those clear rear covers. Hooboy. Now, I have a rather large Tamron collection and I think I have maybe two of the clear rear covers. I think most folks were like me and they just tossed them aside once they mounted an AD-2 mount onto their lenses.

Nice Tammy zoom collection, by the way. I should post pics of my collection too.

Lens porn is commonplace on this website. It is well tolerated and enjoyed.

The OP has gone a step beyond mere lens porn. OP has posted lens COVER porn!!

I remember having a TAMRON 03A 80-210mm in the 80ies for Nikon mount. With the low contrast wide open it was hard to focus and, at least for me, it was difficult to get good results. Perhaps, that was just me. Sold it and didn't purchased another TAMRON lens again, although I like the looks.

Hi Conrady

I am finding the focussing on a Nikon D3 not too bad at all

Maybe worth another try?
