Well, I'm trying to re-cement the rearmost doublet of a tamron 26A. I put it in dichloromethane for around two weeks with no results. Also boiling it twice in distillled water gained me nothing.

I called a pro chemist who told me ha had an hard time separating exhausted solar panels glued with a special glue, he told me that it is probably a compound like that, even if I assume it is not due to the special optical requirements of glues used in lenses.

In any case I doubt I will be able to separate this one, as long as somebody won't come up with some sort of specific knowledge.
