I have a defunct minolta weathermatic with a double focal lens, now defunct.

Given the low value I'm going to extract the lens group to attempt a transplant into a industar collapsible for M39.

I tried to open the camera but there are no screws, even under the rubebr ring surrounding the lens.

There is another rubber layer around the grip, possibly an acces point.

But rest of the body shows no possible entry points.

Breaking the camera would result in lens damage, possibly sawing it?

What do you think?

Nothing ventured nothing gained.
