The last photo is my favourite. I find the bloominess of the other monochromes to be too confronting. Interesting PP, anyway.

First of all, thank you for attention and interesting criticism.
I think you are right, only....I prepare the images for 4k definition/monitoring, and I find that stronger compression
subtracts something. The images appears more dry and less 3d. But I imagine it's my fault.....

I guess it could be that. Dry is definitely the right word - there is clearly a lot of microcontrast creating heaps of texture, which as you say doesn't compress down well at smaller resolutions. They would probably look just fine printed on a suitable paper and print size, though.

I have this lens too. The E55 version. This lens rocks on a Sony A7ii. Sharp and a lot of pop like your images show !
