Its not ideal for this purpose, but not incapable. I ended up doing more cropping than usual of course.
Everything at f/8-11, 300mm
In a whole lot of haze (drifting fog) ruining contrast -
Much closer, so much better -
A rather extreme crop - pity, in this case, a 500mm would have proved much superior.
