I took my first sunset picture with an Agfa Synchro Box 6x7 in 1965 with Fomapan 120 roll film. Therefore I greatly appreciate your B&W sunset pictures with the CZJ Sonnar 180mm f/2.8.
My personal view is that with the APS-C format that lens with its great photographic heritage, fell between two stools; but what a nice lens!

This three pic are with FF camera, but I use sonnar with APS-c Canon 60D too ...
And Yes! I agree everyone from my carlzeiss lens is great photographic heritage.
