Far DOF edge touch her lightly; perfect focus positioning for great great great effect: due to long focal length, in combination with shallow DOF, she looks to be moving toward viewer -- exactly as human eye would see if she were moving toward viewer; human eye focus on face, leaves background out of focus, similar smooth bokeh with high micro-contrast. Perceived effect of motion is due to longer focal length I think, make background appear closer, so face appears nearer -- motion caused in brain to reconcile seeing provides sensation of motion.
