Fujifilm X-T1
Velvia film simulation
WB Daylight
Pentax SMC Takumar 55/1.8

Walking around the house, with the SMC Takumar 55/1.8 on my X-T1. White balance set to "daylight", which in my opinion reflected the shooting conditions. Which brings me to a question; do you use a pre-set white balance, to show the characteristics of the (aged) glass of the lens, or do you set the camera to auto WB, to correct discolorations due to the old glass?

Especially in this last picture, the camera sets the WB to approx. 4000K, which is obviously much lower than daylight on a sunny day (approx. 5500K).

Regarding white balance, it depends on what I'm trying to show naturally Smile I can't remember ever thinking off showing of the lens however..

99% of the time, It's on auto, and I'm editing it post because I'm a control freak.

I like those dressers,
