Great pics, congrats!
I do own this lens in N/AI mount and can confirm the built quality (although the "grit" feeling you mentioned was more apparent in my copy - had to remove the focusing ring assembly in order to tighten some screws underneath for a complete remedy). Btw, I still struggle to focus @ f/1.2 with such thin DoF...

The only downside to this lens is the size of it. I like to carry 3 or 4 lenses in my bag, when I go out for a drive, but it's often a struggle when this beast is in the bag (it's always in my bag!).
"get a bigger bag" I hear you say, good advice Like 1 small So I'm awaiting delivery of the 30lt Peak Design Everyday Backpack https://www.peakdesign.com/everyday-backpack which should be ideal for my needs.

At f1.2 there's often a slight glow around subjects, though not always obvious. At all other apertures, this lens offers outstanding performance. I was hesitant about spending the money on this (I'm not well off) but now, I have no regrets at all.
If you have an opportunity to buy one, I highly recommend you do so.

Here are a couple unedited images I shot with the ZYOptics 85mm Speedmaster f/1.2 on my Fujifilm X-T2. Both were taken with the aperture wide open at f/1.2.

For those who may be interested, I paid < $400 for this lens in Nikon F mount. That's an excellent value for the results IMO.

Thanks. It's easy to see from all the shots in this thread that it's definitely fun to shoot wide open.

If you close down to f/2 or so it's really sharp.
