It seems to be a very good lens.
Should be interesting to know how does it take pics at longer distances. Because from the 80'2 the lenses are designed to render very good near focus. The summicron R 2/50 v. 2 is one of them.
But the rendering at longer focus (near 10 m to infinite) is not so good.
Caming back to summicrons, the V.1 (oldest) render better at longer distance that at close ones. |

I really like the first one. The bokeh in the others is just a tad busy. _________________ photos are moments frozen in time |

Good to know...
Some time ago I was about to get this vivitar 35mm because it is realy neat for close focus, but with already 8 lenses in this FL I cound not justify it for the numbers and price. _________________ Regards,

Very nice images, kryss -- great color and sharpness. [The bokeh is perhaps a bit "busy", but I have found that fairly common in a lot of wide angle (35mm and 28mm) lenses.] That 35/1.9 is definitely a "keeper". _________________ Fred
