Yes, your right, I have once said that Ricoh GXR M in my opinion, one of the best mirrorless cameras in color. Another - Epson R-D1 with CCD sensor. Leica M8 and M9, I do not consider here, it's a different price league.

Yep, I loved my RD-1 and used her many years, unfortunately decided then to let her go and all the Leica-M lenses with her, which I still deeply regret.

Serkol - all those photos are really nice. Do you make sure to use a lens hood with the uncoated Elmar? I know these shots have a great quality as they are, but if you gently adjust the contrast and saturation, you can get the 80 year old veteran to look like it's only a teenager _________________ Stephen

Klaus, yes maybe 6 megapixels today is not enough. But modern cameras ignore our desire to the film color in our digital cameras. They produce color more like a smartphone than on film. Alas!
poilu, THANKS!
Stephen, I consciously process my files, trying to to approach the analog photography. Too much contrast don't really like ... why I not prefere modern lenses - contrasting, but old - 20-60 's, uncoated or single coated, and low contrast. I think they are better suited to modern digital sensors. Maybe it my subjectivism...
Do you have someone experience with Leitz Elmar 90/4 3-Elements?
I also like this ucoated Elmar in black and white
