Hi,
The first pic is the most interesting to me, too.
I was just playing in capturing the beauty of the reflections by the coatings of a lens. The irony is that the perfect coating reflects nothing. And the reflection of an almost perfect coating would be a very faint gray.

As photographers we are mainly searching for those flaws in the light that make the images stand out. Perfect, in glass, coatings, light whatever doesn't give us anything to photograph.
