Very good inflight shooting! Did you use a tripod/monopod?

No, everything was handheld, but belive me, there are many pictures not as good from this day Wink
Indoor shooting in artificial light with high speed is really demanding and difficult with manual fokus lenses. The Pentax lenses has however a very smooth focusring that helps alot.

congrats on the drone Smile

I have the M version in K mount: Pentax M smc 150/3.5. It is good but never compare with takumar.

Generally, I found that newer version is slightly better, but not always,
like smc takumar 120/2.8 vs smc K 120/2.8

Even better shooting handheld Very Happy,I can guess how many non keepers you took. That's the beauty of digital you are not restricted by "how many" images you can take.

Mutiple exposures, fast shutter and pre focused area made a few keepers and lots of thrash. I always use this teqnique when shooting sports with mf lenses. Wink

Thx, the drone is almost as fun as mf lenses Wink

Newer version has probably better coating.
