You are right, distortion with this lens is such sometime that it is not easy to correct in post-production, at least with Lightroom. That was the case with the picture with the bell tower.

Where is the problem? Come over to Zurich, you'll find the metal fence is in one of the alleyways of the old town, in walking distance from the main station.
