Have been lucky enough to borrow this lens for a play and am hesitant to return it.
WOW! it's excellent!
All at f4 except number 3 at f11.
all are jpeg at 10MP straight out of camera with a resize.
Only number 6 has had PP.

Nice samples Smile
Is this the last version? What do you like about the lens compared to your other 50mm's. I have this lens but I never thought of using it on FF digital Wink

Yes it is a phenomenal lens. I posted this before but I can't resist showing off.

The first is resized jpg, the second is 100% crop. Taken with eos60 D with macro tubes and tripod.

Mine is the last iteration with the lens info on the "shoulder"

this is the lens so graciously loaned me by my father.

this lens has such smooth bokeh and is easy to focus without peeking and the colours are amazing, very sharp from f4, CA pretty bad at f4 but only in harsh light. I recently purchased my first autofocus lens 55mm 1.8 FE Sonnar which is astoundingly good but i like using this pentax more.

Yours is the last iteration of this lens and is identical to mine. Extremely highly regarded by the people at this site:

http://www.antiquecameras.net/pentax6x7lenses.html

The pentax 67 lenses are all pretty good but this is the best one I have.

I have the 45 f4, the 55 f4, the 75mm f4.5, the 90mm 2.8 LS, the 135 macro, the 150mm 2.8 and the S-M-C 200 f4, the 55 is my favorite. I would love to someday justify the 75mm 2.8, also the 300 and 400mm ED series, they are really nice from everything I can read.

Nice examples!
This lens is not even that rare or expensive (though it is big)
The last thing I need is another lens, watching these threads can be dangerous...

Yes it is a very large chunk of glass. Fits very nicely on the tank dubbed Pentax 67. Large lens for large camera. When I first started with this stuff I bought the pentax 135mm macro "as is" for 65 usd luckily it worked fine had just a small ding in the A M switch. Used it a few times on my EOS but moved on to other things. Then started seeing lovely photos of MF stuff and scanned ebay for pentax 67. Bought a used body for 214 dollars figuring I already had a lens for it. Of course from the list above you can see where that lead! (not mentioned are the magnifier TTL prism, waist level finder, extension tubes, teleconverters lens caps and filters. Just a guess but I am likely into "inexpensive MF" for 1500 or more (but don't tell my wife!).

Awesome photos!

I wish someone would make a medium format to sony A7 full frame focal reducer adapter.. Imagine the possibilities! I'd pay a lot of money for that!

Seems like we got lucky, but it's only 0.7x reduction. Can't wait to try out my pentax 75 2.8 on it Twisted Evil

I had some mushrooms pop up in the moss on one of my bonsai trees. It allowed me to stage some "portraits' under controlled conditions.
I immediately thought of the results I had gotten with this lens so I thought I would share some results. The previous photos I posted above were with the Canon 60D, these are with the A7ii, using the 67 extension tubes and the 67 helical, taken wide open, the mushroom was about an inch tall so these are greater than life size.

And the obligatory 100% crop. I was focused on the left edge of the 'shroom.

To beardsarebest:
Enjoy looking at your photos this lens is sharp indeed, but on the photo #6, the color on the girl face seems to have a very light yellowish cast,
or it might be just my monitor is off. Thanks for sharing your photos.

Likely due to artificial light?
