Good example why AF lenses are big. Look at those print cards around the lens Wink

They look antiquated, have you sometimes looked inside a modern smart phone, them cards are really dense and tiny.

Let's not forget that this was done by professionals. With proper tools, spare parts, and precise knowledge and experience in putting these things together. For the absolute majority of us it's the last part that would be a stumbling block.
