Nice start! I hope you thought about getting the correct adapters for those lenses! Enjoy! Wink

Best, I will receive my new Sony A77II the next friday. So, along with my film cameras (several Canon, Yashica and Contax ones), I will be able to enjoy my small lens collection in a FF digital camera.

Saludos!

A77II or A7II? Only the latter (A7II) is FF, and only the latter (A7II) will allow you to adapt your old lenses in a meaningful way.

The A77II is APS-C, and due to its mount (A bayonet) you would need adapters with glass, which more or less destroy the image quality of your nice vintage glass.

Just got two! a 35mm f2.5 Nikkor-W in the f1.8 barrel and an 85mm f2 Nikkor P-C marked for Contax. I'm using them with the Amedeo adapter and so far they look great.

Isco Göttingen Westromat 2.8/35mm (M42)

A 70 or so year old Zeiss Biotar, unfortunately in Praktiflex screw mount, which is M40 (yes forty) so neither M39 nor M42 adapters will work...
Still, a nice lens, complete with glass bubbles and a 17-blade aperture.

I wonder how you're gonna adapt it - my recently bought Kipronar 1.9/165mm is still sitting on a table, at home ... though it might have been very useful if i would have been able to use it, today, here in Umbria Wink

Tokina RMC 5.6/100-300mm
Tamron A2 3.8-4/70-210mm (46A)
Canon nFD 4.5/70-150mm (excellent lens on 24MP FF, no CAs at all and very good corner resolution)

Minolta MD-III 2.8/35mm, like new
Minolta AF 4.5-6.7/100-400mm APO
Zenitar MC 2.8/16mm Fisheye (m42)

Wastebin? That is some very nice garbage he had! What about the 100-400 APO, is it still good?

New acquisition: the one at the far right.
Actually, finding these lens shades is the painful part.

After hunting for one for a very long time and watching them go for big prices, I have finally found one within my budget.
These are not that common.
Quite excited to find this one.
Quite chuffed actually
Tom

I had a 55B but it was afflicted by fungus and I sold it.
Great lens though

"Wastebin" may not be the precise English word, but it was the (large) box with material that will go to the waste. The MinAF 4.5-6.7/100-400mm APO looked OK from outside (a few minor scratches outside, but not on the glass; focus, zoom and aperture apparently OK. Using it on the A900 showed a small problem: The apperture could only be used in the f6.7-f22(32) range, f4.5 in the lower zoom range was not available. After a few zooming movements, however, the problem had disappeared: It seems that the corresponding sensor contacts now work flawlessly again. AF and optics seem to be OK as well.

I'm sure there's still a lot of nice stuff being thrown away elsewhere ...

Stephan

This is a 55B, all filters are still there. It does have some small spots of fungus. I think i'll try and clean it myself. It wasn't expensive at 50 euros including shipping, they usually sell for more than double over here.
I've always wanted to try this mirrorlens because of all the good reviews it gets.

Nice find!
I love the original front cap... and the cocking diaphragm Smile

Bought an Auto Takumar short time ago, the f/1.8 85mm.
Great lens, a pity it didn't come with the original AOCo cap.

cheers

55B's have the tripod mount included - out of sight underneath. Good score with the nice case and all, great price.

These are easy lenses to get into to clean fungus off the main optics. You can either go in through the front or (my preference) separate the lens at the helicoid. The correctional optical assembly is more problematical however. PM me if you need more info...
