Love that generation of Nikkors!

Just found an Auto Mamiya/Sekor 50mm f/2. Don’t know too much about it, but it came very cheap with a camera body and in general I like Mamiya glass.

Sankyo Kohki Japan Komura 135mm 1:2.8 Looks good but a bug died inside on the rear of the second element in an aura of fungus. Front element is easy to get out but the second one looks impossible. Edit: and another one that doesn't reach infinity probably to about 12 meters....

I can recommend the 55/1.8 Auto-Mamiya Sekor. It's spectacular for about 30 bucks.

Both 50/2 and 55/1.8 are very good optically. My F2 is a bit cooler but sharper wide open and a little less contrasty. I like it's in focus rendering better than the F1.8 which is warmer and has (even) smoother bokeh and is more contrasty/saturated.

Just in case, I bought the 1.8 as well, now that it still is affordable Smile

That’s a good one.

It came in a box with an SRT201 and some other lenses. As the price was good, I didn’t even check the other lenses before I was home. To my surprise there was also a Rokkor MC 28/2.5 inside, seems to be a nice lens as well.
The third lens was an MC Celtic 135/3.5 lens. I expect it to be quite average (being the 4/4 formula.)

Does the 28mm f2.5 have any yellowing from you know what?

It looks pretty clear actually, but I haven’t inspected it in proper light yet.

Here are a few photos of some of my recent additions:

#1 My widest (2.2kg process lens) vs my narrowest (38mm peletar on Pentax Q)

#2 A crudely mounted CZJ 12.5mm Biotar

#3 The Peletar again quite small for a 210mm equivalent FOV Smile

I'm curious about the images it generates!

The projection lens I probably won't really find out about for a long time, though I suspect it might be very prone to CA - It does have a very good coverage & a relatively short focal length (images formed a bit more than a hand span behind the lens) Eventually I'll get in on my 5x4 monorail

The cine lenses do reasonably well but don't really have enough resolution for the Q. So far my testing has only been indoors or with half completed mounts I'll try & get some more suitable images to share over the weekend...

I have both too.

The f/2 are TL v. I chrome/black and dtl black.
The second is a bit less prone to flare and cooler

My f/1,8 is the SX versión.
Great lens too.

Shocked Congrats Whoo Turtle There's a shopping list. Did you shop from a list or buy whatever presented opportunistically? Smile

My most recent purchase is a Vivitar Series 1 200mm f/3 in M42. I also have a Spiratone Portagon 100mm f/4 inbound just for fun.

Funny thing, I just found a carboard box I got with a 105/2.5. It read "christmast decorations" and still had your address. Very Happy

Finally I gave it to our puppy cane corso who really liked it.

Industar 10 (50mm F3.5 foldable lens from old Zorki cameras, coated version). In the beginning I was looking for performance, buying "best" vintage glass and dreaming of best modern lenses. A few years later I've hit regression. Actually I want my "old-school" black and whites to look like that out of the box as much as possible, although I have to say that some of these old lenses provide beautiful colours. Now looking for a fine deal on Primagon 35mm, another lens older than myself.
