Always wondered if there is a big difference between the Pancolar 50mm f2 and this Pancolar 50mm f1.8..
The 50mm f2 can be significantly cheaper , but quality wise, is it much worse than the f1.8? has anyone had an experience with the Pancolar 50mm f2 ?

They are different lenses, f2.0 is oldest , certainly coating is less good than latest ones. All good enough to anyone with 50mm f2.0 you can expect low contrast, easy to fix in post process if need

yes, latest Prakticar lenses are mostly in pair with Carl Zeiss or Leitz.
