Looks good, how does yours handle flare? I have a a silver 44 w/ SN 00xxxxx that has really bad purple flare.
My 0000xxx version is much better, I was toying with the idea of transplanting the optics from a 44-2 into my 00xxxxx body, mostly because I don't want to take the 0000xxx on trips, but I do want the 13 blade iris.
What I really want is a CZJ T 58/2 Biotar in Exakta mount(but without the auto aperture arm), the one that looks like a 44, they sure do want stupid money for them.

So many Biotar's I've seen look like they've been dug up by the family pet, and they still want to sell them for $300+
James(BTW)

Yep, but there are also very nice ones, even all black versions, at extra cost usually. Wink

No need for black, as my 35/2.8 Flek and 80/2 Tessar are both silver.

Apologies for hijacking the thread.
