Carefully serviced legendary lens dismantled to the last screw, polished, cleaned, lubed and brought back Smile

Now I am selling the piece for $1.000 Very Happy (already booked)

Now it reaches (or even more) condition of my own Exa Red T copy that I am of course keeping. So these are actually "Biotar with another Biotar" photos Laugh 1

I apologize for the of the file.

Marek

Drawing of this copy

Still find rather hard to handle these very fast portraiture lenses, I think I should do better in the future... But when for christ's sake? Laugh 1

I actually much prefer the Sonnar 2/85 or Jupiter-9 copy of it, might not be quite as sharp wide open but it has much nicer, smoother bokeh and character. Of course, such things are subjective. Smile

..nobody will buy this Biotar for a smooth bokeh Wink

Lovely rendering from the Biotar. Do you diamond polish your lenses too?
(It looks more shiny than normal)

I always wondered how the wide and narrow versions compared with the Helios 40.
