Welcome in Club! They are great lenses and often under estimated at West.

That's a good one to get as a first. Preset or auto version?

Let me guess it is preset since he mentions "little lens"?

I believe it is the more refined of the Meyer lenses, offering nice bokeh, but without the swirl and artful bokeh of the others. Most surprising to me is the sharpness. I have both older preset and the auto version. I bought the auto by mistake, not recognizing what it was since it still had Meyer name. It was near mint, but in short order the blades got stuck as many had predicted. The pictures I had taken were incredibly sharp. The preset works well and is equal in condition. It is also sharp, but I want to compare to the auto when I have it fixed. One test I did do with the preset showed the Kalejnar being sharper, but the difference will neve be seen in regular use.

I have only the Pentacon version, but it is one of my favorite lenses.
