When I use high or low speed continuous the first picture is always out of focus and the second picture is much better in focus. 600D and 7D. After the second picture the focusing jumps around.
Are these tiny bits of hand held problems and depth off field issues? Even when shutter speed is more than 1/1000.

Using my A6000 with manual lenses and the camera on 'single' shot I will often take two pictures in quick succession and find the second one much sharper. It's digital, just keep shooting until you get a sharp one Wink
