Hello.

I've being offered a lot of German military optical equipment spares. Most of them are marked with "Bundeseigentum" text and numbers in XX-XXX-XXXX format.

I found here: http://photo.net/leica-rangefinders-forum/00UgVE?start=0
That someone contacted Leica with these digits and they've quoted with manufacturing date, batch number, etc.
I guess there's German database for military parts, just like Nato NSN numbers. But are any catalogs/etc available online, so I can have look?

In such post, very likely the manufacturing date came from the serial number, not from the other one (you can find here a list: https://www.cameraquest.com/leicanum.htm ). In fact the camera cited has S/n 1098444, visible from pictures at page 2.

The problem is that parts I've been offered have no Leica, Zeiss or any other brand names embedded.
